I replay these memories again and again and again and again

Tape repeat. I add new sounds to the roll
Recycled sunlight trapped and muted now
Don't let your feet merge with the ground
These stories take your will to move and stop you from breathing and even from making a sound

Maybe Camus saw this coming
Hopeful, I meet hard reality
But I add my own flair to the telling
I take these stories and whisper tragedy
